Licensure Renewal Information for SCPS Teachers and Certified Employees:
Teachers and certified employees holding a 5-year renewable license (with prefixes such as CP, PGP, PPS, SUPT or TP) must summarize their renewal activities to document at least 180 renewal points and complete all VDOE renewal requirements as outlined in the renewal manual. All renewal points must be documented through the Professional Learning Suite transcript. This transcript should be provided to your administrator or direct supervisor as part of your licensure packet.
Teachers and certified employees holding a temporary provisional license (designated as PROV or PRSE) must satisfy requirements cited by the DOE in order to convert their license to a regular license and be eligible for continuing employment. Please refer to the document sent to you with your original PROV or PRSE license for the requirements for a license.

To see your license type, endorsement(s), and expiration date, go to Search for a License..
To register an e-gov(VDOE) account, go to Search for Existing Personal/Professional Records. This will allow you to view licensure information, including inactive licenses, previous documents sent to the VDOE, and VDOE correspondence in your file.
To see your license number, go to Frontline > My Info > My License Detail > Certificate ID.
