As we approach an exciting new year of hope and promise for your children; We are excited to share an invaluable resource that reflects our Sussex County Public Schools district culture of care and commitment to the whole child. We invite you to register for a life Coaching program we are offering for free to support your efforts to guide your children to be their best selves and increase their desire to learn at the highest levels. We know that parenting today is hard, and we are here to help!
This program is free to all staff as well---your self-care and overall wellbeing is critically important for the continuation of positive teaching efforts towards our learning goals as a division.
This Parent Guidance Coaching micro-tutorial video is designed to inspire and empower us all—families, caregivers, and educators alike—by providing tools to navigate 2025 with greater balance and well-being. We have partnered with the Cook Center for Human Connection who has generously provided a digital library called ParentGuidance.org. When you visit this website; look for COACHING—register there with our state and district name.
At ParentGuidance.org you can explore 73 on demand courses that will offer you limitless learning opportunities as a parent, caregiver and educator. Bullying, anxiety, ADHD, School Avoidance, Substance Abuse and Vaping are just a few key topics all families face today. You’ll also find answers to your most urgent questions in the Ask a Therapist tab where top clinicians answer over 100 tough parenting questions with a video response and transcript. Social media has made it very challenging to guide children healthfully today—these resources cover a wide range of topics to educate all of us to be more impactful in guiding our families.
